Iolite Faceted Rondell Beads

Here at A Grain of Sand we just love the indigo violet hues of Iolite. The faceted rondell beads on this strand measure 6 x 4mm. The colors range from indigo, to violet, to just a hint of gold. No two beads are exactly alike in size or shape, and some of these Iolite beads are more transparent than others. This beautiful stone is also known as "water sapphire". Iolite possesses an array of healing properties including; detoxification, assisting in the healing of nerves and eyes, and enhancing digestion. Very importantly, Iolite is said to shrink fatty deposits. Now, that's a fine quality for a stone to have.
