In 1998, I founded A Grain of Sand with a simple dream and a deep love for creating jewelry. My passion began with pearls. I spent countless hours designing and handcrafting pearl jewelry, fascinated by their beauty and timeless elegance. As I thought about what to name my new business, I kept coming back to the remarkable way a pearl begins—with nothing more than a tiny grain of sand. It seemed like the perfect reminder that even the smallest beginning can become something extraordinary. And so, A Grain of Sand was born.
