The average size is 13 x 10mm, some strands have slightly larger and some slightly smaller stones. The name Muscovite was given to the stone during Elizabethan England times and means " Muscovy-glass". It was actually used as a cheaper alternative to glass in Medieval Russian times. Muscovite is said to help quell insecurity and self doubt.
