Vintage German & Italian Glass Beads

13 x 9mm. Made in Western Germany. These are a beautiful chalk white bead with stylish shape. They feel wonderful!

11 x 15mm. This glass bead is glossy on the outside and has a cloud of white in the center. The tan stripes are a sun burnt tan color. This bead is an unusual nugget style shape with a nice smooth edge.

10mm. Another outstanding find! Old milk textured designer beads made in Austria many moons ago.

6 x 12mm. These are truly treasures. A beautiful minty green glass made in Germany. They were found with lifeless & yellowed crystal chatons that were not the proper size for the setting. We decided to clean off and remove the old glue and Chatons. Then we replaced them by hand with new Swarovski crystals. "Walla". . . . now we really have something to talk about.

6 x 11mm average size. These are hand made and hand cut so the sizes may vary a little. Wonderful rustic feel. Great for those manly projects.

10 x 13mm. Old German Pressed glass beads with a golden wash in the grooves. The golden wash varies in color due to the age of the beads.

6 x 18mm. These glass beauties are black with a stunning golden wash on them. Look at the enlarged view. The images do not do this one justice!

6mm round. Each lot varies in color and bead thickness. The edges have irregular facets all the way around. These are very old, almost antique so you will see that the method of cutting glass was on the primitive side. Gives um character!!! Limited.

8 x 6mm. These have a beautiful blue cloud within them and an iridescent finish. Very limited.

9mm rounded off cubed beads with the holes drilled from point to point. These are a frosted satin finish with a white puffed cloud inside that looks like yellow depending on the light and angle you look at each bead. These are rare and limited. Old goodies from around 1949.

9mm cube shaped beads for stringing on the diagonal. Very unique and rare! Have to see these in person to appreciate the quality of these old goodies.

18mm round x 6mm thick. The green and blue swirl is hand painted from behind. The front has a swirl pattern also, but it goes in the opposite direction of the reverse so the effect gives a lot of dimension. The hole is on the top and goes from the front to the back.

15 x 7mm. These are a super looking simple bead! What more can be said.

4 x 10mm. These are that super bright electric yellow glass! They are smooth with a concave point at the hole. Nice old beads.

6 x 6mm cubes. These are nicely polished. Most of them are on strands, but some of the strings have broken. You will receive 48 beads - lots to work with. Great old basic black beads!

12mm round - that substantial for glass! These beauties are drilled corner to corner. The puffed white opaque centers give these that special look called Givre. Yummy.

4 chain lengths with 5.5mm to 7.5mm black faceted beads on them. 8 beads on each chain length. These were originally intended as extensions for necklaces. The chain is a silver toned metal with beautiful old German faceted glass beads. They are 3 inches long. This is a nice deal for such wonderful old components.

6 x 11mm. These are really special. Made with pride. The are head drilled and when the light hits them just right, they have a glow to them. Fun and funky dew drop shape. Check out the enlargement to see how they look strung. Limited.

25 x 15mm. These have a wonderful shape. Nice old glass component to add to any of your designs. Highly polished, great color and made the old fashioned way.

7mm round. Its really unusual to find this color in glass. The off white ivory color is beautiful. Quality of this old stock is outstanding. Limited.

7mm. These old goodies are a cube that has very rounded off corners so its shape is really unusual. Not a round and not really a cube. Somewhere between the two shapes. The old givre puffed clouds of white glass float within the transparent slate colored glass. An old technique in glass bead making. Very rare and unusual to find this sort of bead.

15mm round x 2.5mm thickness. Scrumptious lemon yellow disc slices with one top drilled hole for fun and bright dangle beading designs.

6mm round chalk white German glass beads embedded on brass wires. The wire is 2 1/4" in length, 22 gauge. These simple wired beads can be easily worked into some beautiful designs.

We have here some 8mm round old German green glass beads embedded on brass wires. The brass wire is 22 gauge and 1 1/2" in length. Brass has patina from age. Simple, yet super to work with.

6mm. These date from the 1960’s. They are Italian crow, or pony, beads in a vibrant red. You receive an ounce per lot, which is approx. 140 beads.
