Vintage Japanese Beads

8mm round. These beads are made in Japan. The color name is Rose Quartz on the original packaging, but they look like a milky pink. Even better! Sold on the original strand with 54 +/- beads per strand.

10mm. Made in Japan. These are sold on their original strand with 50+/- beads per strand. Very nice color.

6 to14mm. Made in Czechoslovakia. Pretty petunia pink strand of graduated glass rondell beads. Each end has a small teardrop shaped bead. What a nice finishing touch!

OUTSTANDING!!! These are old hand made beads that are an opaque lilac color with a periwinkle blue swirl. Yummy. . . . oh yeah! They are made in Japan. Some have the original tags. These are temporarily strung in a graduated fashion. The sizes vary but on average size is 4 to 12mm. The lengths of the strand averages 16 inches. Very nice value.

14 x 6mm. Made in Japan. Pink rosette cabochons with a center hole. I can just see these wired or sewn on to a design with a seed bead in the center. Very pretty and oh so delicate looking!

11 x 19mm. Made in Japan. These are delicate hollow beads with a powerful red color and fantastic shape. Light as a feather! Very rare beads.

8mm. These are made in Japan. Wonderful deep amethyst color, shape and size! It doesn’t get much better than this! Yummy!!!

5 x 10 x 18mm. Made in Japan. These are translucent amethyst glass beads. Flattened oval in shape, these beauties have a white core and are surrounded by a deeper amethyst spiral. Each is unique, and really beautiful!

10 x 17mm. Handmade in Japan, each of these beads is a one of a kind! With a white base, these beads are embellished on the edges with pink and lavender stripes. Another fantastic vintage Cherry Brand bead!

4mm rounds. Made in Japan. These vintage, glass, 4mm rounds make a great staple for any beader’s collection. Use them as a spacer bead, or to increase the beauty of any design. The opaque centers further enhance the warm colorful glow of these beads. Gotta love em!

5 x 12mm. Made in Japan. Beautiful vintage red glass disc beads with black swirls. These make quite a statement!

8 x 52mm. Made in Japan, these are vintage glass Cherry Brand beads. They are large horn shaped beads with a twist. What a great focal bead these would make for a necklace or bracelet! Very limited!!

6-8mm beads. These are vintage Japanese Cherry Brand glass beads. A beautiful petunia pink color, these beads are irregular in both size and shape. They are mostly round with some dimpling. Really pretty!

7mm beads. These vintage transparent glass beads were made in Japan. Their white core centers and dimpled glass exterior give them so much personality!

7 x 5mm average size. They are cute as can! Hand made glass beads so no two are exactly alike. Made in Japan - Cherry Brand. A real "Show Stopper"!

These are rare genuine Myiuki’s - Pre war, made in Japan. These beads are in uncirculated condition. They don’t make this color anymore. Its very hard to come by this size as well. Very rare wonderful quality beads.

8mm round. These are really brilliant!!!! An old fashioned lipstick reddish coral color. Outstanding!!! These are "Made in Japan" and came out of their original boxes marked "Superior Beads Co." We enjoy finding beads like this. They have a sort of ’feelin’ that the contemporary stuff can’t measure up to.

14 x 17mm. These are extremely rare and unusual! Each beads is hand made so no two are exactly alike. The milky white glass has a red and black stripes around the middle. They have a sort of Deco feel to them. Playful yet serious. . . .don’t ya think?

8 x 2.5mm. These rich red flat discs are sensational. Some are more transparent than others but you will enjoy working with both rich red transparent & opaque beads contained within the lot.

10mm round. These are very hard to come by! We stumbled upon them and could not believe our eyes. The beauty and detail in these hand made old beauties will surely excite any bead lover. Get them while we have them. Oh - these do look great with our vintage millefiori clasp item #5603.
