I love Bakelite, and these have that special deep color saturation of most good Bakelite. Perfect size, too.
I bought these beautiful s s clasps because of the different design was very appealing. The price was right. The weight is substantial and I will think about a heftier bead choice to complement the orangey/rust, black/ silver colors and size of the clasp. I love the the rust color. Or, I could go to a sterling silver combination. Sky is the limit, but that is what is fun about designing. The clasp is well made. Sometimes a heavier clasp becomes the focal point of a bracelet and can be striking. I may add at least three lines of beads. Not sure yet, but will be a fun challenge.
