The bead size is 7mm. These are made in Japan. These vintage beads are Cherry Brand quality glass beads from the 1950's. These beads were commonly used by the Miriam Haskell Company in many of their wonderful costume jewelry designs. The beautiful baroque dimpled texture style beads were a popular style during the Frank Hess era of jewelry design at the Miriam Haskell Company. Frank Hess earned the title of Designer Extraordinaire at Miriam Haskell. So you get 12 wonderful deep amethyst color beads in this wonderful shape! It doesn't get much better than this!
