This glass bead was made circa 1950 in Japan by Cherry Brand for Miriam Haskell. Cherry Brand beads were hand made beads made by a group of glass artisans in Osaka, Japan from 1945 to 1952 during the US Occupation of Japan after WWII. Cherry Brand was not a factory! Cherry Brand was actually a large group of individual artisans that made these glass beads in their homes. So now you have a little information on the history of Cherry Brand Japanese beads and how we date these fabulous vintage beads. These handmade vintage baroque glass beads are irregular in size and shape. You will notice a wonderful irregular dimpling in these beads. No two glass beads are alike. ! You will receive approximately 110 beads on a 15” strand. The reason we can not give you an exact count is because these baroque beauties vary in size and shape.
