Made of a new type of steel alloy. This 4 1/2" side cutter has a Rockwell hardness at the cutting edge score of 61-63!!! It’s great for cutting copper, raw brass, white gold, platinum and other hard metal wire as well as prong mountings. This cutter will last for years! The edge is flush and the handles have a cushion grip with double leaf springs and box joint construction. Made in Germany.
