Working from the spool when stringing your beads is important because you never know exactly how much of the material you are going to need until you are finished stringing. When you are finished with your design you could find that you either didn’t cut enough material from the spool and you have to start over, or you cut too much and the remainder gets thrown away. If you work right form the spool, then you will never use more of the material than you actually need. In the end, working from the spool will save you time as well as money.
