Vintage Japanese Beads

8mm. Made in Japan. Sold in lots of 50 beads. A Great basic black bead!

28 x 6mm. Made in Japan. These are delicate hollow beads in a fantastic faceted tube shape. Light as a feather! Very rare beads.

18 x 5mm. Made in Japan. These are delicate hollow beads in a fantastic faceted tube shape. Light as a feather! Very rare beads.

12mm. Made in Japan. These are delicate hollow beads. They have a hematite finish and fantastic faceting. Light as a feather! Very rare beads.

15 x 10mm. Made in Japan. These are delicate hollow beads. They are flat on the back and have a wonderful faceted dome shape. Light as a feather! Very rare beads.

6 x 3mm. Made in Japan. These are milky white glass rice beads on their original 60" strand. Approximately 245 beads per strand. Now that’s a lot of beads!

4mm. Made in Japan. Just a nice simple round glass bead. Perfect as a spacer bead. You can never have to many of these!

25 x 22mm. Made in Japan. Slightly curved, these leaf beads have a hole at the top where the stem would be. Lovely detailed crystal leaf beads!

11 x 19mm. Made in Japan. These are delicate hollow beads with a pure white color and fantastic shape. Light as a feather! Very rare beads.

20mm. Made in Japan, these are vintage white glass beads with gold glitter swirls around about pink and blue roses. These are spectacularly beautiful beads!

30mm diameter, 20mm in height. These vintage white glass flowers were made in Japan. They have a center hole through the flower and the stem. We believe that they were made to be used as a finial, perhaps on a lamp. You could use them as end beads on a necklace or incorporate them into most any design. Just use your imagination!

8 x 52mm. Made in Japan, these are vintage glass Cherry Brand beads. They are large horn shaped beads with a twist. What a great focal bead these would make for a necklace or bracelet! Very limited!!

9 x 12mm oval beads. These are TORII Brand vintage glass Japanese beads. All of the beads are oval in shape, yet each one is unique in form. They have a beautiful semi opaque alabaster color, reminds me of skim milk.

9 x 16mm beads. Made in Japan, these glass beads remind me of a carmel sundae. They are opague white beads infused with transparent camel and carmel colored glass. Very unique!

6 x 8mm beads. These are very old Japanese glass teardrops, they are even a bit dusty! Each bead has an eyepin with lots of patina.

14mm square. The only hole is the large center one. The backs are flat. The fronts are rounded off by long irregular cuts or facets. These are glass from Japan. Sew them down or wrap them up. These are versatile.

5mm. These are very old. Yes, they are in the antique catagory! They were made in Japan at the earliest development of faceted beads. They were machine made and they do have a seam as the technique had not yet been perfected. A wonderfully rare find.

8 x 12mm. These are very unusual to see. The photo does not do them justice. This beautiful glass bead has the most wonderful opalized color! The shape is as unusual as the color. They are a rectangular slanted and have a pinched feel lengthwise. Made in Japan by Cherry Brand beads.

4mm. These were made in Japan. A rare find. Nice translucency.

6mm. From Japan. Dobu shell was used for Ladie’s hair combs, knitting needles, fountain pens, and other items held close to the body because the shell had properties that make it feel warm and comfortable. It was immune to static charge. The shell material was scarce which makes it more expensive.

10mm round. These are very hard to come by! We stumbled upon them and could not believe our eyes. The beauty and detail in these hand made old beauties will surely excite any bead lover. Get them while we have them. Oh - these do look great with our vintage millefiori clasp item #5603.

22mm round!! That’s right. . . .these are really big! The base of these beauties is acrylic so they are lightweight with a big fat wonderful look! They came out of old stock in mint condition and uncovered in their original packaging with "Made in Japan" on the label. These pearls were used for a line of jewelry produced by the Trifari Company as well as Napier quite some time ago. You receive 17 fabulous pearls. That’s a 15 inch temporarily strung strand of pearls. Heck of a "colossal" deal! 

20mm round. Wow! Super luster and look without the weight. The base of these beauties is acrylic so they are lightweight with a big fat wonderful look! These old goodies came out of old stock in mint condition and uncovered in the original packaging with "Made in Japan" on the label. These pearls were used for a line of jewelry produced by the Trifari Company quite some time ago. You receive 38 fabulous pearls. That’s a 30 inch temporarily strung strand of pearls. Heck of a deal! These beads are 8 x 15mm, vintage made in Japan of high quality opaque glass. Drilled through the center from the top to bottom. Nice old beads.

12mm round. These are hand made in Japan for the Coro Company. No two are alike. I have to admit that I have been hoarding these babies for some time and have been talked into sharing the bead wealth. The swirls are actually gold stone dust embedded into the wonderful expresso colored glass. When you hold them up to the light they glisten.
