Vintage German & Italian Glass Beads

Sizes vary per lot. You get a surprise in each lot. The variety of colors, shapes and sizes will amaze. Yummy bright and fun genuine Italian cane beads. Limited. 

15 x 7mm. These are a super looking simple bead! What more can be said.

9mm cube shaped beads for stringing on the diagonal. Very unique and rare! Have to see these in person to appreciate the quality of these old goodies.

6 x 18mm. These glass beauties are black with a stunning golden wash on them. Look at the enlarged view. The images do not do this one justice!

10mm. Another outstanding find! Old milk textured designer beads made in Austria many moons ago.

13 x 9mm. Made in Western Germany. These are a beautiful chalk white bead with stylish shape. They feel wonderful!

8 x 10mm. These old beauties are very old! One side is flattened with a small dimple in the center and the other side is a nice rounded drop. These are top drilled dangling beauties!

9 x 12mm. These 5 sided mirrored crystals have some wonderful depth. Take a look at the enlargement.

6mm Fluted melon shaped old milk glass beads. These were in their original packaging with tags that said "Made in Germany - U.S. Zone." Nice old goodies.

6.5mm round. These wonderful jet black glass beads have two holes so they make super spacers for smaller work. The real special feature is the dimple on the front side that was made to fit a size 28 crystal chaton perfectly. We have a rainbow of size 28 Swarovski Chatons in stock to choose from in the Crystal Section of the website. (note that the image was taken with a couple of crystals to demonstrate how pretty they can be. We use Hypo Cement to glue the crystals. This is also available in the Tools and Materials section of the site. Many possibilities here!

7 to 10mm graduated beads. This is a 16" graduated strand of vintage pastel colored glass beads. Made in West Germany, the U.S. Zone, these glass beads are cut to have the look of branch coral. Just re-string, add a clasp, and you are ready to go!  Special value price!

12 x 13mm x 4.5mm thickness. These delightful glass flower beads have two holes for double stranded designs or sew on possibilities. The milky glass has a pearly finish within the design and the center has a crystal for a fantastic finishing touch. The backsides are flat. I can picture a beautiful bracelet designed with these. . . .hum. . . .the possibilities are endless.

5 x 7mm. Made in Austria. These are really nice old beauties. The hole is lined in white which makes the clear crystal facets look fantastic.

38mm. Made in Austria. These chandelier components have a flat center on the back and a nicely faceted point on the front. There are holes drilled front to back at each end, so they would make wonderful connector pieces. These are vintage, so they may have a few small scratches. What a statement these beauties will make in your design!

7mm. Nicely cut glass crystal clear bicone beads. Sold on their original strands. 100 beads per strand, what a deal!!

13 x 16mm. The original packaging said "Germany - U.S. Zone". This one is really interesting in shape and design. The back is flat for easy sew on possibilities. There is an indentation just perfect to fit an 8mm bead on top of the hole. Perhaps a bead of a sparkly nature? Hummm. . . . outstanding possibilities!

20 x 8mm. Made in Austria. These are top drilled leaf beads with etching on the front, and a smooth back side. Another great milk glass bead!

30 x 16mm, not including the loop. Made in Germany, these are seed bead embellished dangle beads with a beaded loop for easy attachment. Thanks to the movie Avatar we hear that the tribal look is in, and these definitely have that look. Don’t miss out on these!

10 x 4mm. Made in Western Germany. These glass rondell beads have a nice metallic hematite finish. Great spacer bead!

9 x 6mm. Made in Germany. Crystal clear teardrop beads. Oh, what great dangles these teardrop beads will make!

6mm bead. Made in Western Germany, these vintage black beads are english cuts. English cuts are rough cut beads that were made before machine cutting was perfected. The faceting is slightly imperfect and rough but it gives them a nice sparkle!

40 x 20mm. Made in Western Germany. We are not really sure what type of piece these were made for. The beads are attached to a small, 12mm, round plastic screen. How about a pendant, pair of earrings or you could just take them apart for the beads. You choose!
