Vintage Rhinestone Clasps & other Old Clasps

7 x 12mm closed. We found these warehoused for years with other old overstocked Napier components. They have been preserved really well. Check out the enlargement.

8mm coco colored faux pearl clasps with gold plate locking mechinism. The pearl is a lucite base with a really nice nacra finish. These little old clasps are really charming and . . . . very inexpensive. You get 5 in each lot. Great deal.

12 x 16mm closed. Nice substantial size for a fold over clasp. We found these warehoused for years with other old overstocked Napier components. These have a rhodium finish for a nice silver toned simple fold over style clasp. Check out the enlargement.

6 x 12mm Silver Satin plated lobster claw with Napier Cartouche and end caps for a fine finished look. The end caps have a 3mm opening. Sensational finding found with old stock that was warehoused before the company was purchased by Victoria & Co.

12 x 5mm. These have a fun industrial feeling! The raw brass patena is a real pleaser as well. These go nicely with many of our vintage raw brass chains. Hum. . . . .better hurry cuz these are limited.

13mm x 38mm. The gold tone finish on these does show a little age, but they are still fabulous. Nice design. Lots of texture and dimension. They look like they could have been for Trafari or Napier. We arn’t sure, but the original packaging said, "Made in Japan" so we know they are pretty old.

19mm round. This vintage clasp is wonderful. The original made in Japan tag is still on it. Some of these look as though they have aged better than others, but variances in patina do give older pieces that character we are all after.

10 x 12mm. This one is set in a silver toned 3 strand box clasp. These came out of old designer stock. A nice big foiled back crystal is prong set into this claps. Simple but sensational!

11mm round. This old sweetie is a single strand and stamped "Japan" on the side of the silver toned metal, which means that its old. The faux silver grey pearl is in wonderful condition. Hum . . . . I bet we have some silver faux pearls that would look super with this clasp, or visa versa.

13mm round. This is simple old design that does add alot of style to your work. It is not sterling, but a nice looking silver tone metal. Super value. Sold in lots of 3.

11 x 14mm loop to loop. This clasp is stamped "Japan" on the back. It’s old, its a beauty and its a 2 strand in a silver toned metal. Not sterling, but its beautiful both front and back.

30mm length. This is a super deal. These came out of old designer stock. There is no hook attachment. But perhaps adding a simple crystal beaded chain to one end and a jumpring and hook to the other could turn this old treasure into an adjustable clasp. It has 8 loops which is hard to find and 7 rhinestones on each bar. It’s a great thing to finish off those multi strand masterpieces you have been waiting to create.

22mm long bars. This old silver toned beauty has four rhinestone baguettes. It’s a 5 strand. Super old clasp.

19 x 23mm. This old single strand clasp is a silver toned beauty with a foiled blue focal stone. This clasp may have originally been meant to have other stones set within the pinched edge. Maybe rhinestones? The edge gives off a shine that enhances the design. That’s why we call this one the "non-rhinestone".

Bar is 22mm long. This clasp is a hook and eye type. Each bar has 4 rhinestone baguettes. The clasp is silver toned. Most of the have very clear crystals. Some of these clasps had a stone replaced at one time or another, but they all have a total of 8 rhinestones in nice vintage condition.

22mm long x 7mm. These are signed Napier findings. I tried to get close enough on the picture so you can read it. Check out the enlargement for a closer look. Old brass, rare and limited!

22mm loop to loop x 9mm. These are gold plated. Check out the enlargement for a look at how the clasp works. When you press the release, the bend of the tongue hooks over a loop. To remove, you slide the free end of the tongue off the loop. Nice design on this one.

12mm round. This one is a single strand. The filigree work is on both sides. Super deal!

15mm round. This is a wonderful reproduction of a vintage design. Gold tone finish, double strand. Great deal here!

6 x 9mm. Take a look at the enlargement to see the detail on both sides of this little old clasp. Not sure what the metal is. Very nice for delicate work.

8mm square. You get three clasps per lot. This delicate feeling clasp is a two strand with jumprings attached. The metal is white, not sure what the metal is, but its a nice secure closure. Old goodie that came from some designer overstock so they have never been used.

12 x 16mm. This is a triple strand old clasp. Yes, some of the faceted rhinestones are yellowed from age, but we think that is the beauty of this one. The photo shows the back of the clasp as well as the front. This is some sort of white metal. Nice Clasp!

19 x 29mm. This one is very substantial. Lots of rhinestones. It is a silver toned box clasp. Double strand. These are old and some of the stones may be yellowed from age, most are fairly white. A stone or two may be missing as they are rather old. This all adds to the beauty of the clasp. These are limited. Once sold, that will be it for this one.

9 x 21mm each side. You receive one portion with the hook and the other without. Silver color metal. Great for that old fashioned look. These have a beautiful 3mm rhinestone in the center of each side. Nice and unusual.
