Okay . . . .We have found something very special for
you featured in the image to the right. These are
vintage nailhead beads from Czechoslovakia and
Bohemia. They were found in an closed down textile
factory in Brooklyn, NY. Nailhead beads were used to
embellish garments in the early 1900’s before
sequins were produced so they are what I like to
call "pre sequins". Now, I have to say that I see alot of
potential for beading with these nailhead beads.
They add a lot of interest to designs with seed beads.
Our Miss Kelly is talking about incorporating some
into a belt design. . . . . .hummmm! Oh, the
possibilities. . . . . .
