11mm round. These old goodies are from Czechoslovakia. They have that wonderful sheen seen on carnival glass made during the depression. The color is a beautiful wheat with that wonderful finish. Fun buttons.

18 x 25mm. Check out the enlargement to see the backside as well as the front. An unusual glass button designed with an added golden toned shank. cira 1950’s. Can’t you see these on a lady’s suit jacket?

13mm round. These old buttons have the shank and design molded into the glass. Great old buttons.

26mm round. These have a shank and stunning detailed design molded into the glass. Great old charming buttons.

35mm round. These buttons are nice and big. Made in Czechoslovakia. They are a black molded glass with the "La Mode" signature on the backs. The faceted is quite nice. These are rather old and may have some imperfections, that’s the beauty of vintage. . . .isn’t it? I can picture these big buttons on a heavy sweater or coat or in a wonderful jewelry design. Hum. . . .

9mm square. Made in the Czech Republic. These glass buttons have a shank molded into the button. The back has a foil coating to give the best reflective quality to the button. Pretty.

13mm round. Outstanding. These have a silver plate. The enlargement shows the backside of one of the buttons so that you can see the shank. The shank is a bit larger than our other grouping of Encrusted Buttons. These have signs of their old age, so a little yellowing is to be expected. Very nice.

7mm round. I like to describe the color of these old buttons as "skim milk" white. They have that tranlucent white look. The shank is actually a part of the button. Sweet Old Skim Milk Buttons!

10mm round. These old buttons are new old stock from the 40’s. These buttons have a pretty green tint that is most likely due to their age. They have embedded shanks and a rhinestone center. Nice!!!

8mm round. These old beauties are "Made in Japan". They are wafer thin and top quality mother of pearl. The holes are on the edge of the button. You will receive a strand that is almost 6" long with approximately 140 buttons on the strand. These are very old and rare. Check out the enlargement.

10mm round with a single hole in the center. This is a flat disc originally produced in the 1920’s for the textile industry for buttons that originally had a metal shank added in the center. These were in their original boxes marked "Made in Japan". Old and naturally beautiful. What nice additions these would make to jewelry designs of today? Hum. . . .

These are vintage - Made in Japan. A quality Mother of pearl shell buttons with two holes on the edge. These are thin embellishments. Rare indeed!
