I believe that these may have been designed for use on a chandelier, some do have a bit of glue residue on the backside. Uncovered in its original packaging. The size is a 10 Torres Perles is written on the old brown wrapper with an old ink pen. These are very small! 3-4mm in size, however the hole is pretty large for such a small bead. These French Torres are from the Napoleonic Era. Made from the 1800’s until 1920. They were produced for soldiers uniform decoration and strung to look as though they were braided on the uniform. They are seamless brass and have a crude corrugated look. We can’t wait to incorporate these into some seed bead projects to add an extra special antique element to our designs. Sold in 5 gram bags (approximately 60 beads). The number of beads per 5 gram bag will vary due to the range of size from 3-4mm.
