I’m a little tired today. Why? Well, I got home late
again last night. It was well worth it though. I
spent the evening with “The Golden Boys”.
Remember them? My dad’s group of retired, 50 plus
friends. Alice, Al and I arrived by boat at the house
of our
gracious hosts, Roy and Nancy Berguist. It was a
social event that ended up with a parade of boats
cruising under the moonlight. These folks are a lot of
fun. I could go on and on with stories, as you know
but I will spare you with all the shenanigans that
transpired except one. . . . . During the ride, some of
us decided that the name of the group should be
changed from Golden Boys to Silver Studs. After this
social, the women would all agree that it would be
more fitting! These folks do know how to have fun.
I’m exhausted today. The photo to the right was
taken last
night.
Reminder for those of you near Charlotte, NC: A
Grain of Sand will be at the Bead Lush on September
29th and 30th. Remember, we won’t be able to bring
everything, so if there is something you see on the
site that you "have to have", email us and we will be
sure to bring it.
