We have been amazed about this stone for some time at A Grain of Sand. While on vacation in the Dominican Republic, I first fell in love with this stone. It’s no wonder that they call it the "Jewel of the Caribbean". The robins egg blue color is natural. Only one mine in the world and it’s under the ocean in the Dominican Republic. It is actually volcanic material. Some specimens have coral embedded within. Because it is volcanic material, it is very hard and therefore difficult to cut or drill into beads, thus the high price. We think it’s worth it!
12-18mm beads. Very hard to come by, this is 16" strand of highly polished graduated larimar beads. Each bead has a lovely combination of whites blues and greens. Only 1 strand available!

11 x 14 - 14 x 17mm. This strand has a total of 30 beads that are matched up nicely for rich deep blue color and a gentle graduation in size. Nice strand.
