Okay then let me fill you in on the scoop around
here. . . Jennifer, Lauren, Alice and I are going to
New York for a visit with Jennifer’s Mom and my
wonderfully gay cousin, Lisa and her English Bulldog,
Willie! We will be leaving Wednesday morning and
returning on Monday, so we will not be able to ship
on Thursday this week. All orders received after
12pm June 21st will ship out next Tuesday, June
28th. Sorry for any inconvenience, but we will surely
have some good City Gossip to share on the return.
Back to the business of indulging. . . As many of you
know, I am partial to local "Joints", you know, smaller
family owned restaurants, not the chain type. And,
since I was not able to spend Father’s day with Al, I
took him to our local favorite for lunch yesterday,
Sebastiano’s - Its Italian, as you may have guessed.
Tommy Lacon, the owner is always there and ready
to serve his wonderful pizza and pasta dishes. I used
to spend hours cooking Italian food, but now that
Sebastiano’s is around the corner, there is no reason
to. This place reminds me of cheers, everyone seems
to know you there. CC from the Mooresville Post
office is usually spotted on a Friday evening, Sherrie
and Glenn (soon to be Mr. and Mrs.) make their
appearances as well as many of the Nascar drivers
that live in the Point. If you are ever in Mooresville,
North Carolina ya just need to stop into this place to
indulge in some good food, drink, and a little
hospitality! Its located on the corner of Oak Tree
Road off of Brawley School Road.
There is never a dull moment here, nor a dull bead. . .
so check out the new shiny stone beads in the New Arrivals! section
of the website. FYI . . . We have been seeing many
of the biggie designers purchasing large amounts of
moonstone, tourmaline, and labradorite for the fall
season.
