This necklace has the original tag on it. The clasp is a gold tone metal, box style. Each knotted necklace has 44 8mm beads and two 6mm beads attached with eyepins at the clasp. 28mm. These vintage clips were uncovered in pristine condition. They are signed "Barclay". We have some of the original hang tags as well. They are a gold plated metal and lucite with a faux pearl center. Very unusual!

A few of these neckaces have the origninal tags but most did not. The tag says Glasstique by Richeliieu - "Lifetime Guarantee of Quality. . . If properly cared for, these Richelieu Simulated Pearls are guaranteed not to peel, crack or lose their beautiful color." These are in mint uncirculated condition and if the original company was still in business, I’m sure they would honor the guarantee. Richelieu was founded in New York in 1911 and purchased up by Lisner Corporation in the 1990’s. Great addtion to any costume jewelry collection.

7mm beads. Made in Japan. Wow, this is a long one! A lariat length, 54" necklace. The beads, and matching clasp, are white milk glass. I image this worn flapper style, tied down low in a knot. Another possibility is to wear it as a shorter double or triple strand.
