	Here is the story about the photo. . . .Al belongs to this group called "the Golden Boys". It’s a bunch of retired fellows (over 200 members, believe it or not.) that get together and golf, boat & participate in all sorts of activities. The Golden Boys decided to participate in a fund raising asian dragon boat race, but found it hard to get enough of the members to participate in the race. The rules stated that they had to have at least 8 women in the race as well. I became one of those women and the youngest of the group, I might add. So. . . . ."the Golden Boys" became "the Golden Paddlers" There were some very impressive teams that we raced against. One came from Charleston to participate here in Charlotte. We did rather well, 4th place in our class without any heart failure as many of our competitors teased before we paddled in front of them. Al is in the blue had. Sorry that you can’t see me, I was in the front of the boat bringing the team across the finish line. News and Announcements – Employment opportunity at A Grain of Sand.
