Faux Pearls

10mm round. These vintage rare beauties are "Made in Japan" from the 1940’s. They are a unique satin gold with a splattering of bright shiny gold. These come in strands that are 30 inches long. We counted 77 beads on a strand. This one is a great buy!

10mm. High quality faux pearls made in Japan for "Marvella". Marvella made high quality costume jewelry and is no longer in business. These rare old pearls are a wonderful baroque shape and nice size to work with. The color is a rich dark silver to imitate rare black pearls of the South Seas. 17mm round. These are simply sensational!!!!! An acrylic base pearl is covered with 2mm faux acrylic seed pearls. The are very rare and unusual. These are in mint, uncirculated condition. The luster is stunning. You receive 51 fabulous pearls. Wonderful buttercream color!

4mm. These pretty little steel blue faux pearls were made in Japan. There are approximately 400 pearls per strand. Now, that a lot of pearls!

5 x 8mm pearls. Made in Japan, these vintage acrylic faux pearls have a really nice luster. They are sold on a 58" strand, and there approximately 184 pearls per strand. Now, that’s a lot of pearls!

Embellish them with Perfect Pearls (available in the Tools section) or any other medium you may choose for a finished look. Or. . . just leave them in their raw state for an earthy look. The finished necklace is 15.5" in length. These wonderful 11mm large acrylic simulated pearls have a wonderful sheen. The clasp is actually one of the pearls and two smaller pearls surround the clasp for a nice finished look. Lightweight and "made in Japan".  Steal of a Deal!

Special Deal Price!!!  6mm faux pearls knotted and finished with a stunning silver toned filigree box clasp at a 15" length. We estimate these simulated pearl necklaces to be circa 1950. A few of these neckaces have the origninal tags but most did not. The tag says Glasstique by Richeliieu - "Lifetime Guarantee of Quality. . . If properly cared for, these Richelieu Simulated Pearls are guaranteed not to peel, crack or lose their beautiful color." These are in mint uncirculated condition and if the original company was still in business, I’m sure they would honor the guarantee. Richelieu was founded in New York in 1911 and purchased up by Lisner Corporation in the 1990’s. Great addtion to any costume jewelry collection.

5mm faux pearls. These wonderful vintage goodies are knotted and have silver toned bead tips on the ends. You receive a 10" strand already to add to your designs. The original tag is still in tact. It says Torii Brand simulated pearl "Made in Japan". These were meant to add to other beads. You can add a jump ring to the ends and add some other beads and findings to get a unique vintage look. These are in mint, uncirculated vintage condition.

Each 15" strand has two temporarily strung with loose ends - 7.5 " long graduated faux pearl sections to make two bracelets from. These pearls are from 3-9mm. The luster is stunning. They are "made in Japan" and preserved from the 40’s with pride. Take a look at the enlargement to see the whole strand. It’s a double graduated strand of stunning old lustrous pearls at a price that will please.

These 4mm round faux pearls were found amongst old designer stock from the 40’s in mint condition with tags that say "made in Japan". They are strung with bead tips on the ends. We aren’t sure if their original design was for a small child or if the bead tips would connect to another jump ring with other beads to get a finished length more appropriate. You can add these pearls to other pearls, attach two of them together with perhaps a vintage crystal focal between the strands or take them apart and use in some other unique creation of yours. In any case, these are a super value and make a great addition to any design with vintage style.

20mm round. These are actually made of compressed cotton and then coated with a luminous pearl finish! This process produces a very solid and rock hard pearl bead that is light as a feather! Rare beauties indeed! Made in Japan in the 1940’s. These faux cotton pearls are very sturdy under normal wear, however, they are not water proof.

2mm rounds. Made in Hong Kong, these faux pearls come on a 60" strand. That’s with 800 pearls each strand. You can purchase them by the individual strand or by a 12 strand hank (Simply update the quantity to 12 for a hank.) They are nice and lightweight. Great for a bridal project!!

7mm black pearls. Actually more like a deep silver color. These pearls are strung 20" long with a barrel style silver tone clasp. 73 pearls per strand. You can take the necklace apart to use the beads, or enhance with a pendant or just wear them. Great deal on some old faux pearls.
