Vintage German & Italian Glass Beads

10mm. Made in Western Germany. These beads are like eye candy! The blue center is surrounded by opalized glass and then the bead is faceted. Yummy!

4mm. Made in Austria. These vintage hematite beads are english cuts. English cuts are rough cut beads that were made before machine cutting was perfected. The faceting is slightly imperfect and rough but it gives them a nice sparkle!

18 x 10 x 5mm. Made in Germany. These apple green and white teardrop beads are top drilled front to back. Use them as a bead, pendant , or charm. Check out the enlargement, each one of these beads is unique in coloring.

6mm. These date from the 1960’s. They are Italian crow, or pony, beads in a wonderful picasso mix of brown, blue, green, orange, and red. Most unusual!

4 x3mm. Made in Germany. Tiny transparent peridot glass disc beads. Love the color. What a great spacer bead these would be!

10mm.These are vintage glass sew on beads. A lovely powder blue with a moonglow iridescence. Flat backed, these could be used as a sew on or as a bead. Use your imagination with this one!

8 x 12mm. These vintage West German glass leaves are translucent green with a hint of opalescence. They are side drilled at the top of the leaf. Pretty pretty!

9 x 10mm beads. These W. German white glass beads have a very unique green banded pattern. The shape of these beads is slightly oval with ridges in alternating directions. Also available in a bright lemon yellow, item #12513.

7 to 10mm graduated beads. This is a 16" graduated strand of vintage pastel colored glass beads. Made in West Germany, the U.S. Zone, these glass beads are cut to have the look of branch coral. Just re-string, add a clasp, and you are ready to go!  Special value price!

12 x 8mm. These wonderful transparent beads almost have the shape of a heart. They "Want To Be" hearts, but aren’t quite. Unique.

9 x 12mm. These vintage beads have that wonderful Picasso finish. A purplish speckled look that gives each bead its own personality. The shape is irregularly egged. Another unusual old goody.

15 x 12mm. This bright and beautiful glass bead was made in West Germany. It has a wonderful satin frosted finish and a cloud of opaque white within the bead.

4 x 6mm. These are pretty lapis blue. Rich in color and wonderful small shape. Check out the enlargement.

6mm. Mint beads from old designer stock. These beads were made with beading in mind!!! They are the perfect size for working into detailed projects. Notice the floating cloud of blue glass that is surrounded by a frosted transparent crystal clear glass. Oh. . . . .the possibilities. These are very special indeed!

12mm. Another outstanding find! Old milk white with blue wash textured designer beads made in Austria many moons ago.

6 x 12mm. These are truly treasures. A beautiful minty green glass made in Germany. They were found with lifeless & yellowed crystal chatons that were not the proper size for the setting. We decided to clean off and remove the old glue and Chatons. Then we replaced them by hand with new Swarovski crystals. "Walla". . . . now we really have something to talk about.

7mm. Nice shape and transparent color. Yummy!

13mm cubes with rounded edges. Drilled from corner to corner. These are really. . . .really rare!!!! Rich aqua blue color with that floating puff of white glass that makes them Givre. If you collect old rare beads, you will most definitely want some of these beauties!

5 x 7mm. This bead is a real "looker"! Cute as can be.

8mm. These glass flying saucer shaped beads are a wonderful transparent green color.

9 x 12mm. These old beads are an essential transparent green with a beautiful shape. Great size. Limited item.

Okay - this is a color I havn’t seen in a while. This was the color of a car owned by my Great Uncle Al. A shade of green that is minty but rather a hot mint. If you know what I mean?. . . . Real eye candy! 17" of beads here. Temporarily strung in a graduated fashion from 5-12mm with small silver plated glass bead spacers between each. These are uncirculated vintage glass beads that have some naturally vintage color and shape variations that give them even more appeal. Restring them & add a clasp or take them apart to use the beads for your designs. Either way these are a steal of a deal!  Special Price - $5 per strand!

18mm round x 6mm thick. The green and blue swirl is hand painted from behind. The front has a swirl pattern also, but it goes in the opposite direction of the reverse so the effect gives a lot of dimension. The hole is on the top and goes from the front to the back.

Size No. 2 Bugle - 2mm x 5mm. Gorgeous color. These are beauties. You receive one ounce bag of beads (that is lots!). Limited supply. The blue of these is paler than those listed as 9324. This particular color is not colorfast. We recommend spraying these old beauties with a clear coat Krylon type spray to preserve the color.  Other colors are available in the vintage bugle bead section.

4mm. We aren’t sure of the technical size as the label was worn and we could not read it. They are really old and rare. We have enlarged the view so you can see the detail in the colors.

22 x 15mm. These have a wonderful shape. Nice old glass component to add to any of your designs. Highly polished, great color and made the old fashioned way.
