Vintage Japanese Beads

OUTSTANDING!!! These are old hand made beads that are an opaque rich turquoise color.Yummy. . . . oh yeah! They are made in Japan. Some have the original tags. These are temporarily strung in a graduated fashion. The sizes vary but on average size is 3 to 10mm. The lengths of the strand averages 18 inches. Very nice value.

3 x 6mm. Vintage Japanese glass rice beads. These tiny rice beads are grass green with a white center. Beautiful addition to your bead stash!

10 x 17mm. Handmade in Japan, each of these beads is a one of a kind! With a white base, these beads are embellished on the edges with blue stripes. Another fantastic vintage Cherry Brand bead!

4mm rounds. Made in Japan. These vintage, glass, 4mm rounds make a great staple for any beader’s collection. Use them as a spacer bead, or to increase the beauty of any design. The opaque centers further enhance the warm colorful glow of these beads. Gotta love em!

6-7mm. Made in Japan. These are 6-7mm round beads with scattered dimpling. Each of these beauties is unique.

8 x 52mm. Made in Japan, these are vintage glass Cherry Brand beads. They are large horn shaped beads with a twist. What a great focal bead these would make for a necklace or bracelet! Very limited!!

4mm beads. These nice smaller oldies! The image has been enlarged. Made in Occupied Japan, post World War II, these translucent green glass beads have that wonderful crackle look. Beutiful in any design!

6.6-7mm round. These grand beads are from old Cherry Brand stock & Made in Japan. The swirl of brick brown all around the beads gives them wonderful detail and character that ya just don’t see on common round glass beads!

10 mm. Made in Japan, these beads have an eyepin made of brass. The eyepins have a nice patina that varies from bead to bead.These glass beads have a lovely green swirl pattern. You can open the eyepin and attach them to any design or clip the eyepin and use them for a stringing project. Really pretty!

12 x 15mm beads. Made in Japan. These glass teardrops are top-drilled. They are a beautiful tansparent emerald green!

11mm bead. Made in Japan, these unusually patterned glass beads are from the 1930’s. They are marbled with shades of green, yellow, and white. A must have!!!!

5 x 7mm. Made in Japan. These Cherry brand beads have a very pretty dark green spiral pattern on them. Each bead has its own unique pattern.

4-5mm round. These are Moon Star Brand beads "made in Japan". Each bead is unique because they are hand made lamp beads. The sizes and shapes do vary a tiny bit. These remind me of Dinosaur Eggs. Don’t know why, because I have never actually seen a Dinosaur egg. But if a Dinosaur egg is green with spots and really tiny, these would surely fit the bill. They are really pretty!

5mm. Beautiful old washed finish! They just don’t make um like this anymore! Super Rare!! These are rare genuine Myiuki’s - Pre war, made in Japan. These beads are in uncirculated condition. They don’t make this color anymore. Its very hard to come by this size as well. Very rare wonderful quality beads. Sold in 48 piece lots.

5mm jade glass beads, strung as a 16" four strand necklace. The ends are finished with brass split rings so they would just need a clasp to finish them. The beads closest to the split rings are 3mm. Very nice! Taken apart, you have a pile of excellent vintage jade green beads to incorporate into your designs. Super deal!
